Personalized care for weight, hormones, energy, and long-term health — managed by one physician who sees the full picture.
Now accepting a limited founding patient panel.
"Weight, hormones, energy, muscle, cardiovascular health — these are the things that actually determine how you feel and how long you stay healthy. Nobody's managing them together. I started Wellesley Medical because one physician, paying close attention to all of it, is the difference between feeling fine and operating at your peak."
Your energy drops. The weight accumulates in places it never used to. You're losing muscle despite staying active. Your sleep is off. Your labs come back "normal" and your doctor moves on.
Dr. Seth Lampert trained at Tufts and spent years in emergency medicine — where you learn to read patients fast and miss nothing. As a lifelong strength and fitness athlete, he understands body composition from the inside: what it actually takes to preserve muscle, optimize hormones, and build a metabolism that works long-term — not just lose weight.
He founded Wellesley Medical because those two things together — clinical precision and a firsthand understanding of how the body actually performs — don't exist in one place. They should.

Every protocol we build has one goal: help you look, feel, and perform your best for the years ahead.
That's the difference between a prescription and a physician.
GLP-1 therapy, hormone optimization, and peptides. All physician-led, evidence-based, and built for long-term results.
Semaglutide and tirzepatide managed by your physician. Dose titration, metabolic labs, body composition monitoring, and side effect management. Not just a prescription.
Learn more →Testosterone, thyroid, estrogen, progesterone. Comprehensive panels, real clinical interpretation, and treatment calibrated to where you actually feel the difference. Men and women.
Learn more →FDA-approved peptide therapies with real clinical protocols and monitoring. Dr. Lampert tracks emerging compounds closely and prescribes them when evidence, safety, and a legitimate pharmacy pathway support their use.
Learn more →Data from published randomized controlled trials of semaglutide and tirzepatide. These are trial-level outcomes, not practice claims. Individual results vary. Wellesley Medical protocols are built on this evidence base.
Complete your intake. We order baseline labs. Then a comprehensive video consultation with Dr. Lampert: your medical history, lab review, medication selection, and a treatment protocol customized to you.
Your prescription is sent. Your smart scale arrives at your door. Treatment begins with a titration schedule built around your body. Dr. Lampert is a message away if anything comes up.
Regular video and messaging check-ins with Dr. Lampert, tailored to your protocol and progress. He's already looked at your weight trend before you log on. Regular lab reviews. Real adjustments by someone who actually knows your case.
Reaching your goal weight isn't the end. It's a transition. As your needs change, your care expands: hormone optimization, metabolic monitoring, body composition tracking, longevity markers. One physician managing the full picture.
Dr. Lampert trained at Tufts University School of Medicine and practiced emergency medicine across Massachusetts and Rhode Island before founding Wellesley Medical. A lifelong fitness and strength training enthusiast, he understands body composition and muscle preservation from the inside — not just the textbook. His ER background gives him the clinical decisiveness most metabolic medicine physicians lack. Additional training in peptide therapy and hormone optimization through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
Dr. Heather Lampert completed her residency at Brown University and fellowship training at the Joslin Diabetes Center — the world's leading institution for diabetes research and metabolic care. She is a board-certified family medicine physician specializing in preventive care, with additional certification in menopausal therapies and medical weight management. Dr. Heather advises on clinical protocols and quality standards but does not provide routine patient care. All patient treatment is directed by Dr. Seth Lampert.
We maintain a small patient panel so Dr. Lampert can give every patient the attention they deserve and the continuity that actually produces results.
A comprehensive video consultation with Dr. Lampert. Your medical history, baseline labs, medication selection, and a personalized treatment protocol.
Ongoing physician-led care. Same doctor every visit. Your clinical team a message away. Your data reviewed regularly. Your protocol adjusted as your body changes.
Medications purchased separately through your insurance, manufacturer discount programs, or pharmacy of your choice. We prescribe and manage your care. You choose where to fill.
Founding patients retain the $350 monthly rate while continuously enrolled.
No. Wellesley Medical is a physician-led, cash-pay practice. That means no prior authorizations, no insurance-driven treatment decisions, and no seven-minute visits. Dr. Lampert recommends what is medically appropriate and spends the time your case requires. Some patients use HSA or FSA funds, and we provide itemized receipts on request. The initial evaluation is $600, one-time. Ongoing membership is $350 per month.
Most metabolic clinics sell medications. We provide physician-led medical care. Dr. Seth Lampert personally designs your treatment plan from your biomarkers, health history, and goals, then tracks and adjusts it over time. You see the same physician at every visit — not a rotating provider who doesn't know your history — and we keep the patient panel deliberately small so that's actually possible.
Wellesley Medical is designed for adults seeking physician-guided weight management, hormone optimization, or broader metabolic health improvement. Before your evaluation is scheduled, Dr. Lampert reviews your medical history to confirm treatment is appropriate for you. If it isn't, your evaluation fee is fully refunded — you will never pay for an evaluation that can't help you.
Online GLP-1 services are built to prescribe a medication. Wellesley Medical is built to manage your metabolic health. That means evaluating the underlying causes of weight gain, reviewing 60+ biomarkers, protecting muscle as you lose weight, managing side effects, adjusting treatment over time, and addressing the related picture — hormones, thyroid, and long-term health. A prescription is one part of the plan, not the plan.
We focus on metabolic health and longevity: physician-led weight management with GLP-1 therapy, hormone optimization for men and women (testosterone, thyroid, estrogen, progesterone), and FDA-approved peptide therapy where clinically appropriate. Most patients come to us for one of these and stay because we manage the full picture.
Dr. Lampert writes your prescriptions and guides you to the best way to fill them — a retail pharmacy, a manufacturer savings program, or your insurance. We walk you through it so you're never guessing. Wellesley Medical does not dispense or sell medications, and we do not profit from prescriptions or steer you toward any pharmacy. Recommendations are based on clinical appropriateness, availability, and cost.
Yes — and we encourage it. Wellesley Medical is not a primary care practice. We specialize in metabolic medicine and work alongside your existing doctor, not in place of them, and we coordinate with your primary care physician or specialists when appropriate so your care stays complementary rather than fragmented.
All visits are conducted through secure video, so you can be seen from home or work. Between visits, you have direct messaging access for questions, medication adjustments, and ongoing guidance. Lab work is completed at a facility near you; Dr. Lampert personally reviews your results and adjusts your treatment as your protocol requires.
Massachusetts and Rhode Island. All care is delivered via telehealth, so you can be seen from anywhere in either state.
